RUMERTIME is a process that helps you and other individuals (Rumerizers are people who engage in the RUMERTIME Process™)Recognize, Understand, Manage, Express and Reflect on their Thoughts, Interactions, Mindsets and Emotions as they inevitably encounter challenges in relationship with self, others and situations.
The RUMERTIME Process™ developed by Dr. Yvonne Murray-Larrier teaches Rumerizers of all ages, stages, races, places, and settings to move from a position of intra and interpersonal imbalance to balance, and from unconscious living to conscious living so that they can become socially-emotionally competent.
We all want the same things out of life; to access and utilize culturally relevant Mindsets, Attitudes, Resources and Relationships, Knowledge and Skills (MARKS™) whereby we can effectively relate to and successfully navigate self, others, and situations.
The RUMERTIME Guided Activity Journal was authored to create an affordable, practical, intentional, and non-threatening space for individuals everywhere to begin their self-directed journey from imbalance to balance and from unconscious living to conscious living.
The Content and Organization of the RUMERTIME Journal
The RUMERTIME Guided Activity Journal has five components. These five elements were intentionally designed to engage individuals in diverse ways. For example, some Rumerizers may want to participate in the process but may not like writing as an expression of their TIME™. Then there are those who prefer to express their TIME™ (Thoughts, Interactions, Mindsets, Emotions) through drawing or may prefer brain teasers as a way to manage, express, and reflect their TIME™.
Affirmation Page: Encourages Rumerizers to reflect and express their TIME™ through writing.
“Draw if you want to” Page: Encourages Rumerizers to express their TIME™ through drawing.
Coloring Page: Encourages Rumerizers to use the art of coloring to manage, express, and reflect on their TIME™.
Activity Page: Encourages Rumerizers to use brain teasers as a way to manage, express, and reflect on their TIME™.
RUMERTIME Page: Begins with an illustration of a balancing scale and an explanation of the RUMERTIME Process™. The “RUMERIZE It!” Page inspires Rumerizers to tell their stories. The pages that follow the RUMERIZE IT page urges and supports Rumerizers as they deconstruct their stories. The elements and open-ended questions that constitute the RUMERTIME Process™ guide Rumerizers to a place of balance and conscious living.
Who can use the RUMERTIME Journal?
ANYONE! EVERYONE! EVERYWHERE! The RUMERTIME Guided Activity Journal is for anyone interested in personal growth and development. It is also designed for those who influence and inspire persons of all ages, stages, places, and settings relate to self, others, and situations, so that they can successfully navigate life, love, school, work, and play.
