Ms. Megan Hensley is an education specialist and instructional designer with an eLearning company, Mopi16, and adjunct professor for the Counseling and Human Services program with Indiana University South Bend’s School of Education. She has been with GCSCORED since 2013 as Vice President of Media and Development. She graduated with a Bachelors of Arts and a Master’s of Science in Education, Community Counseling concentration from Indiana University. She has previously served as a staff counselor with Indiana University South Bend’s Student Counseling Center where she provided goal-directed mental health counseling for students. Megan’s passion lies with children, and she worked as a forensic child interviewer and program director for Elkhart, Indiana’s child advocacy center where she provided developmentally appropriate, forensically-sound interviews to over 750 children who were alleged to be victims of abuse. Megan is now working on a child abuse recognition and response program geared for pre-professionals.
