Founder’s Message: Journeying Towards Global Engagement and Transformation

As we continue with our mission to increase access to improved culturally responsive mental health education, emotional wellness support, and the promotion of healthy relationship cultivation skills, I am thrilled to share with you the Journal of Global Engagement and Transformation (JGET).
Established in 2017 as a part of GCSCORED, Inc., JGET represents our commitment to transforming lives and creating safer, more resilient communities. It serves as a transdisciplinary platform that transcends academic disciplines, work settings, educational levels, and philosophical paradigms, bridging gaps across geographic boundaries.
The vision of JGET is to share knowledge and interventions that contribute to the social and emotional development of individuals locally and globally. It’s more than a journal—it’s a movement to drive change and give a voice to those who have long been silenced by systemic barriers.
JGET was crafted as a beacon for practitioners engaged in innovative, transformative work. It’s an avenue for researchers, scholars, students, and academics with transdisciplinary agendas to find a place of acceptance and value. It’s a resource for laypersons, policy makers, philanthropists, and other consumers of research and practical interventions to access, understand, and utilize vital information with ease.
As we recognize the urgency to address mental health crises, particularly in light of the recent Surgeon General Advisory and alarming data on children’s mental health, we invite you to join us on this journey.
