Social-Emotional First Aid (SEFA®) Training
This is a 1-Day Workshop on how to Re-Engage, Re-Educate, Re-Equip, and Empower Yourself and Others. Covid has wreaked havoc on our social-emotional wellness and impacted our ability to engage, educate, and equip ourselves and others in traditional ways.
At the end of this one day Virtual Workshop you will be able to:
- Recognize and Understand the social-emotional skills necessary to effectively re-engage in your relationships at home, school, work, and in the community.
- Recognize and Understand how your Thoughts, Interactions, Mindsets and Emotions (TIME) have been adversely affected due to Covid-19.
- Recognize and Understand culturally responsive and scalable strategies to manage yourself and relationships.
Come prepared to dig deep with the RUMERTIME Process®, a new and innovative approach that engages, educates, equips and empowers Covid-19 Survivors and Thrivers in diverse settings locally and globally! NBCC and NASW CEU credits are available.
What is the RUMERTIME Process®?
RUMERIZING
Individuals are consciously or unconsciously rumerizing all day whether it’s a helpful or harmful event they are experiencing. When a harmful event occurs in their life, it can activate non-productive or harmful thinking, acting and feeling patterns. As a person rumerizes, they are working to interrupt harmful patterns of thinking, acting, believing, and feeling as they Recognize, Understand, Manage, Express and Reflect on their Thoughts, Interactions, Mindsets and Emotions while they relate to the triggering event.
